Harriet Helfand, Account ExecutiveHarriet Helfand, an account executive with Reeves Laverdure Public relations, has more than 20 years experience as a public relations professional, designing and implementing programs for companies in diverse fields. Her public relations experience has focused on obtaining local, regional and national publicity for businesses in the technology, tourism, hospitality, real estate and marine industries, and for manufacturers of consumer and trade products, among others. Her previous experience was as writer and editor. Helfand served as writer/managing editor of a major travel trade publication, and later designed and wrote teacher/student materials for an educational publishing company. She received a bachelor's degree in English/secondary education from Queens College in New York City, after which she taught junior high school English in New York for six years. |
