Bruce Serbin, Account ExecutiveBruce Serbin, an account executive with Reeves Laverdure Public Relations, has dedicated his career to working with the media and various communications outlets. While attending the University of Tampa, Serbin completed an internship in the newsroom of WTVT, Fox 13 in Tampa, Fla. He worked closely with various public safety organizations and government agencies updating story content. He was then hired as an Assignment Editor and was responsible for planning news coverage and responding to breaking news events. Prior to leaving WTVT, he was promoted to Associate Producer, writing stories for the evening news. During his time at WTVT, his team was awarded “Best Newscast in the state of Florida” by the Associated Press. Most recently, Serbin worked in the public relations department of The JKG Group. He helped lead the public relations efforts behind the Office Depot Grand Opening program. He was responsible for the event planning of each ribbon cutting ceremony around the country and the writing of speeches and press releases. He also worked on the Office Depot Foundation National Backpack Program and secured both local and national media coverage. He received a “Gold Magellan Award” from the League of American Communications Professionals for his involvement in the program. Bruce also has experience in the tradeshow industry and working with non-profit organizations. |
